Events isn’t in the menu
Section titled “Events isn’t in the menu”- Members only see Events when they’re logged in.
- The plugin replaces the theme’s Calendar link. If your theme’s header has no Calendar link, add one to the header template.
An event wasn’t announced in the forums
Section titled “An event wasn’t announced in the forums”Its region has no announcement forum, and Default Event Forum isn’t set. The coordinator is told this when they save. Set a forum for the region in Settings, then save the event again.
Pending events are never announced; set the event to Live.
Costumes aren’t being fetched from the 501st Legion
Section titled “Costumes aren’t being fetched from the 501st Legion”- Check 501st Legion API is set in Settings.
- Check PHP’s curl extension is installed.
- Check the server can reach the API. Requests time out after 5 seconds, and the member’s saved costumes are used instead.
- The member’s Legion ID may be wrong, or their 501st record private.
Troop report reminders aren’t sent
Section titled “Troop report reminders aren’t sent”Check Event Reminder PMs is enabled in Tools & Maintenance > Task Manager, and read its log. See Reminder task.
Event times are an hour or more out
Section titled “Event times are an hour or more out”Check Event Timezone in Settings is a named zone like
Australia/Sydney, not a fixed offset or UTC.
Saving an event with an emoji fails
Section titled “Saving an event with an emoji fails”The forum’s tables were created before emoji support. Deactivate and reactivate the plugin to convert them.
Template or style changes disappeared
Section titled “Template or style changes disappeared”Reactivating the plugin replaces its templates and stylesheet. Put changes in your theme instead. See Theming.
