Setting What it does
Event Timezone The garrison’s timezone, used for every date the plugin enters, shows and compares. Choose a named zone like Australia/Sydney, not a fixed offset, so daylight saving is handled. The server’s timezone is ignored.

Pick the custom profile field for each:

  • Costume Profile Field
  • TK ID Profile Field
  • Check Profile Field (the WWCC number)
  • Mobile Number Profile Field
  • Emergency Contact Profile Field
  • Preferred Name Profile Field

A detail with no field picked isn’t asked for.

Setting What it does
501st Legion API Where members’ approved costumes are fetched from, by Legion ID, when they sign up to troop. Starts as https://api.501st.com. Leave blank to use only saved costumes. Needs PHP’s curl extension.
Preapproved Costumes Lets members type in a costume they’ve been preapproved for. Off by default.
Preapproval Requirements A link to a post explaining how to get preapproval. Members using a preapproved costume are shown it and must confirm they’ve followed it. Leave blank to ask nothing.
Setting What it does
Working With Children Checks Turn off if the garrison doesn’t use them. Events then can’t require one.
Check Name What your state calls it, for example Blue Card in Queensland. Defaults to WWCC.
Setting What it does
Event Coordinator User Groups Members of these groups can create and edit events and see attendance sheets. They’re also who can be picked as an event’s coordinator. Primary and additional groups both count.
Garrison Members Group Splits attendees into groups on the troop report draft, and sets who’s counted on My Troops.
501st Members Group Splits attendees on the troop report draft.
Setting What it does
Troop Report Forum Where troop reports are posted.
Default Event Forum Where announcement threads go for regions without a forum of their own. Leave unset to not announce those events.

Events are filed under a region, which members can filter by. Each region can have its own announcement forum. The list starts as Sydney, Hunter, Canberra and Other.

  • Rename a region by editing its name and saving. Its events and forum go with it.
  • Add one with Add Region.
  • Delete one with ×. If it has events, you’re asked which region to move them to.

Names can be up to 64 characters, with no commas or equals signs.

The logo on printed pages, such as attendance sheets, is set separately: Admin CP > Configuration > Settings > Event Management Settings > Print Logo. Use a URL or a path from the forum root, like images/logo.png. Leave blank to use the theme’s logo.
